Are you worried about your heating costs? The HopeSource Energy Assistance Program can potentially help.
The HopeSource Energy Assistance Program can provide help paying for a variety of different heating costs such as electric, gas, oil, propane, wood, and wood pellets. Eligible participants can receive benefits ranging from $25 to $1,000.
HopeSource is accepting requests via phone 509-962-0435 and online for the 2009-2010 season.

NOTE: You will receive a notification card in the mail indicating the date and time of your energy assistance appointment along with a list of what documentation you will need to bring with you. Failure to provide required documentation will result in the termination of your appointment. Click on FAQ for more information. Due to the high volume of requests, it may be over two months before you receive a notification card in the mail. |

The Conservation Education Program provides clients with energy saving measures that can be done in the home as well as inexpensive tools to make small repairs in the home such as storm windows, weather stripping, and energy efficient light bulbs.
