Description: The HopeSource Emergency Shelter is available to homeless families and individuals while they transition into stable housing. Shelter clients receive weekly case management to give them access to the support and resources needed to gain stable housing.
Eligibility: Clients must be homeless and able to show proof of their homeless status. Criminal history may make clients ineligible. Priorities go to families, and then couples, and finally single women, and lastly single men.

Description: The HopeSource Transitional Housing Program works with families on a weekly basis for up to two years. In this program client barriers to self-sufficiency are assessed and goals are set by the client to overcome these barriers. Clients work one on one with a Family Development Specialist who helps them address issues such as employment, nutrition, parenting, and financial management. Clients receive a rent subsidy while in this program that decrease as their income increases. The Transitional Housing Program works to have clients fully self-sufficient and depending on no public assistance when exiting the program.
Eligibility: Clients must be homeless with children and able to show proof of their homeless status, as well as have a letter of recommendation by another agency and a personal statement. Criminal history may make clients ineligible. |

Eviction Prevention
Description: Eviction prevention is for clients who have an eviction notice and are only behind on the current month’s rent. HopeSource can pay for half of the current month’s rent, up to $400 for eligible clients. Clients can only access this program once every two years.
Eligibility: Clients must be only behind on the current month’s rent, have an eviction notice from their landlord, a denial letter from DSHS if they are on TANF, and show proof of income. The income must show that they can sustain their current living situation. |

Homeless / Move In
Description: Move in assistance is for clients who are currently homeless but have a lease signed to move into a new place and income to sustain the new living situation. HopeSource can pay half of the first month’s rent, up to $400, for eligible clients. Clients can only access this program once every two years.
Eligibility: Clients must be homeless and able to show proof of their homeless status, have a lease signed, have proof of income that will sustain their new living situation and a denial letter from DSHS if they are on TANF. |
