Hope University
Hope University
Hope University introduced at our second annual fund raising breakfast.
We are pleased to launch Hope University, the new life skills institute that extends the opportunity to low-wealth households to change their destiny and provide a new model for their children. We invite you to join us in launching this exciting and high potential program.

The objectives of any university include the understanding that they are chartered to:
  • Add to and share knowledge that fosters economic stability and growth, which in turn is the foundation of an improved standard of living for society

  • Prepare an educated and well-trained workforce that extends human potential and thereby increases U.S. competitiveness and innovation

  • Strive to contribute to a positive spirit that affirms learning and growth for all members of the community
Hope University is chartered under the same objectives.

Hope University is Scholarship Based. A Full Scholarship of $2,500 will provide the funds to move one family through the coursework necessary to attain a decent job, stable housing, healthy food, personal transportation, basic insurance, and licensed day care. This coursework generally takes from 12 to 18 months to complete.

Partial Scholarships are accumulated until they reach $2,500 and then are applied to another family that has committed to tax paying community involvement and 100% self-reliance.

Detailed information regarding the curriculum can be found on our website in the coming weeks.

Hope University is already working in partnership with Kvalley Computers, Central Washington University, Yakima Valley Community College and WorkSource to deliver its curriculum.
