Joseph Frangipani Wins Friend of Housing Award
HopeSource is proud to celebrate Joseph Frangipani, Outreach Navigator, who was honored with a Friend of Housing Unsung Hero Award at the October 2025 Housing Washington Conference. The award, presented by the Washington State Housing Finance Commission, recognizes individuals whose behind-the-scenes work has a lasting impact on people experiencing homelessness.
Joseph has been part of the HopeSource team for more than seven years, serving individuals who are navigating homelessness, instability, and the absence of reliable support systems. In his role, Joseph provides outreach across Kittitas, Grant, Adams, Chelan, Douglas, and Okanogan counties, meeting people where they are and helping them take the next steps toward safety and stability.
At the heart of Joseph’s work is relationship-building rooted in trust. He understands that many of the people he serves have experienced significant trauma and systems that failed them. His approach centers on dignity, compassion, and consistency. As he connects individuals to medical and mental health care, food, transportation, recovery services, and housing resources, Joseph believes dignity is not something that comes after stability. It is the foundation that makes stability possible.
Joseph is a steady, trusted presence in the community, someone who refuses to give up on people even when the path forward feels uncertain. He reminds both clients and colleagues that every life has value and that meaningful change happens through patience, respect, and human connection.
We are grateful for Joseph’s leadership, heart, and unwavering commitment to our mission. This recognition is well deserved, and we are honored to have him as part of the HopeSource team!
